Virvendus, Estonian for ripple. As ripples grow, they turn into waves. Much like the craft beer movement, what started as a ripple, turned into breweries making waves. From the other side of the world, Pohjala, hailing from Estonia have been making waves in the craft beer world with some of the best beers on Earth. When the opportunity to collaborate arose, Boatrocker wanted to make a beer that worked for both the collective wheelhouses... So, a Baltic Porter aged in STARWARD whisky casks using some uniquely Australian ingredients such as Voyager red gum smoked malt and Tasmanian pepperberries was born.
