Rochefort Abbey originated in the thirteenth century and is found in the heart of Notre Dame de Saint Rémy. It produces three beers designated as Trappist beers. This Trappist 10 is the ‘big’ one and builds from the depth of Trappist 8. It is dark, rich and complex with caramel, chocolate malt notes, dark fruit and spicy finish. As with all other Trappist breweries, the beer is only sold in order to support the monastery financially and fund some other charitable causes. Go on, support a good cause!
